These are some of the earlier concepts for resource gathering in Junkster I had the pleasure to develop. Originally, the player would craft blocks from raw materials and resources they gathered by smashing scrap and rusted junk found in the world. These abandoned machines and vehicles were designed to be spawned with or without various details, and using the colour changing system I developed for elsewhere in the project. This would allow us to reuse these junkpiles with a degree of variety.
